biography

Dr. Jamie Progebin was born and raised in Washington, DC. He was recruited to play baseball at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology in 2017.

Jamie then graduated cum laude from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2021, where he was inducted into the dental honor society of Omma Kappa Upsilon. At the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Jamie received basic science awards in biochemistry and pharmacology as well as the Academy of Osseointegration outstanding dental student award.

Jamie then went on to complete a three-year post-graduate residency program in Prosthodontics at New York University, where he graduated in 2024. During his time at NYU, Jamie served as the Chief Resident during his third year, received a research grant from the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, and was awarded 2nd placed for his research at both the American College of Prosthodontics national meeting in 2023 and the 2024 NYU research day.

Jamie is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration, Alpha Omega, DC Dental Society, Renaissance Study Club, Maimonides Study Club. He is a member of the Continuing Education Committee for both DC Dental Society and Renaissance Study Club.

Jamie is now lecturing locally and nationally.

Jamie resides in the DMV area with his wife Caitlyn and their dog, Charlie.
